Control Your Nerves

Handling interview nerves and stress

interview stress and interview nerves

Most candidates before and during an interview will experience some nerves and stress.  But it is important to be able to conquer these as much as possible to enable you to do the best you can at interview.  Some nerves are good if they can be used to allow you to be more energetic and alert.  However, bad nerves can stifle your answers and negatively affect your speech and presentation.

Clare has trained and qualified in particular therapies, which can enable her clients to be more relaxed, confident and less stressed before and during interview, these are:

  • Neuro Linguistic Programming (MBIH)
  • Hypnotherapy and Mind Coaching  (Dip.Hyp, MBIH, UKCHO)
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (Dip.CBT,NRAH)

These therapies have proven positive effects on candidates going for interview, allowing them to be the best they can be.

Should you feel you would like to improve these areas therapy sessions are seperate from the interview training, as they are purely focussed on conquering nerves and lowering stress.  Please ask Clare for more information on these therapies during your coaching.
